Canine Aquatic Therapy Center

Welcome to Central Wisconsin's Original Canine Aquatic Therapy Center

Pool Pricing & Packages

Picture
In 2013, I decided to add a therapeutic pool because I was seeing many dogs with CCL tears who would benefit from the warm water during their recovery.

In 2026, I added an underwater treadmill to expand my canine rehabilitation and recovery services.

Understanding each service:

The pool and the treadmill are 2 slightly different animals, so I recommend them based on your canine companion's needs and abilities.

The Pool:
The pool offers a true non-weight-bearing experience, making movement more comfortable.
The warm-water environment allows muscle relaxation and aids with pain relief during movement.
Aquatic therapy will challenge balance and coordination and can be safer than on land (initially).

Swimming uses muscles more completely than other activities such as running.

Dogs that benefit from the pool are: - ALL DOGS!
But to be more specific:
Arthritis
Knee Surgery Recovery
Knee Injury Recovery
Pre-Surgical Conditioning
Post-Surgical Conditioning
Back/Spinal Issues
Lyme
Stroke
Neurological Issues
Hip Dysplasia
Canine Athletes
Working K9s
Exercise
Weight Loss
and so many more ...

Swim appointments are 30 minutes (based on your appointment time). Be sure to show up 10-15 minutes early so your dog can eliminate and be ready to be in the pool at your appointment time. Appointments are not extended if you are late.

The Underwater Treadmill:

The UWT is partially weight-bearing and allows for improved range of motion when compared to land.
It is an excellent tool for proprioceptive gait training, improved balance while walking, and building lean muscle mass in limbs.
The UWT also helps nonswimmers become comfortable in water.

All swimming & UWT are done by appointment.
Your first swim will be an Orientation Swim - this is non-negotiable
Appointments are 30 minutes.

Bring Your Own Towels!
Bring Your Camera!
Be prepared to get wet...

Due to State & Local laws and our insurance, owners will not be allowed in the pool.
